ROBAR Fabricated Couplings are used to make a non-restrained connection between two pipes of the same nominal size but with same or different ODs.
MATERIAL SPECIFICATIONS:
Center Sleeve: Carbon Steel
End Rings: Carbon Steel
Gaskets: Nitrile (Buna N) and SBR (Buna S) Rubber (Other compounds available)
Fasteners: 1906 – 5/8” NC T304 Stainless Steel – Nuts coated with anti-galling compound
1908 – 5/8″NC Mild Steel
Torque: 70-80 ft-lbs.
Coating: 1906/1908 – Corrosion Protective Epoxy coating
